This Guardian Angel standing watch over a little boy’s dreams was done with model paint and blended acrylics to give it a more dimensional effect due to the lack of depth in the imagery originally requested. The moon was ragged for texture and terrain effects were then airbrushed to soften hard lines.
Flowing graphics are a large part of our business, and they add a wonderful compliment to almost any area. The graphic under the clock (above) was hand-painted with thinned latex house paints, then highlighted with a gold glaze for a more antique feeling.
This was hand painted in a child’s room with a combination of materials and techniques. This tattoo-style image was made from airbrushed acrylic on top of latex house paint.
In this case, our client was a homeowner who had a preteen girl who was a little on the rough-and-tumble side, so we hooked her up with her favorite icon. The dreaded skull and bones! Complete with a pretty pink bow to add that retained air of femininity. This icon was done in latex house paint; white, black, and pink on a brown accent wall. The white part of the skull was airbrushed with white acrylic mixed with a thinned silver glaze to make it really pop!
